I had no idea that the Matterhorn mountain is situated both between Switzerland and Italy. When most people think of the Matterhorn mountain they think of Zermatt, Switzerland ‘the most photographed mountain in the world’ but did you know that the Matterhorn is situated in both Switzerland (Canton of Valais) and Italy ( Aosta Valley ). I like to encourage people to step outside their comfort zone….perhaps I should take my own advice on that and take the kids skiing!
